I have been studying my environs and creating art for more than 30 years.  I live off-grid near Taos with my husband Peter Halter.  Dependent upon the sun and the rain to power our handmade home, we are committed to forming beauty from native materials and living a life of balance.  Always aware of our surroundings, the environment shapes our movement and inspires our work.

Hoot ! Hoot ! This distinctive pillow is powered by the sun. The process begins with one of my original paintings.  Using an early, alternative form of photographic printing, sunlight exposes the image. The print is hand-pulled and transferred on to re-purposed cotton.  From there the piece is lined, double-stitched, and crafted into a cuddly piece of art.
